About Us

Welcome to Sham Sunder Art, where tradition meets contemporary creativity. Founded by renowned artist Sham Sunder, our studio is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the art of wash painting, acrylics, and other mediums.

Our Story

Born in 1943 in the historic city of Sialkot, Sham Sunder's journey in art began amidst the turmoil of the partition. Overcoming numerous challenges, his passion for art was nurtured at Jamia Millia Islamia and the Delhi Polytechnic. Under the mentorship of distinguished artists, including Shri Jaggu Bhai Shah and Shri Bishwanath Mukherjee, Sham Sunder mastered the wash technique, blending it with his unique vision.

Our Art

At Sham Sunder Art, each piece tells a story. From the delicate and meditative wash paintings to vibrant and dynamic acrylics, our collection embodies a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The central themes of our works often revolve around spirituality, cosmic forces, and the interplay of the seen and unseen.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire and elevate the soul through art. We strive to create pieces that not only captivate the eye but also invoke a deeper, meditative reflection in the viewer. We believe in the transformative power of art and its ability to connect us to our innermost selves.
